About
Kevin grew up ski racing and hitting kickers on the icy slopes of NH, so he knows a thing or two about weather, and gear. After graduating from Hamilton College, he headed west to push his limits in his favorite sport, and find out what deep snow was all about.
Working in a ski shop, it was face protection that customers and employees were least stoked on. Nobody covered their noses, because this made masks wet, and it fogged goggles. Kevin knew there had to be a better way, and that the only way to succeed, would be to make the best solution in the world.
He moved back to the White Mountains of NH, launching the faceGlove classic in 2013. His first 50 masks were sent to guides on Mt. Everest, and the rest is history.
Over the past decade the faceGlove has gone through three major iterations, 5 production models, and over 20 production runs. The latest version, the faceGlove TS, represents the culmination of a decade of researching, testing, and materials technology.
In the last 10 years, the faceGlove has climbed each of the highest mountains on earth including Everest, K2, and Denali, and is a staple piece of gear in Antarctica, and for ski patrollers around the US. FaceGloves have also been shipped to all 50 states, and 14 countries.
Every single faceGlove is still hand-made from POLARTEC's best materials to the highest standards by a small team in NH, and personally inspected by Kevin because "a bunch of these masks are going to Mt. Everest, and I don't know which ones."
