Warren Miller's Winter Starts Now: A tale of two faces...

In our house we have a standing tradition that every November we eagerly await the latest Warren Miller movie and watch it as a family to get stoked for the upcoming ski season. You can only imagine our excitement when we saw OuterU's faceGlove on the big screen! While we were amazed by the incredible grit and talent of Vasu and Pete's ability to not only summit Denali but then expertly ski it on one leg better than any of could on two, we could not stop focusing on how well this captured the essence of faceGlove. Through their ascent and descent we were constantly shown close ups of Vasu's face perfectly protected by his faceGlove.

On the other end of the spectrum we had Pete who had clearly cobbled together a piece of duct tape to protect his nose. We could only imagine Pete's envy each time he saw Vasu's warm face. (Don't worry we have sent Pete a faceGlove)

This montage perfectly captures the genesis story of OuterU, when Kevin Borque first realized that there had to be a better option than duct tape to protect his nose and cheeks, while still allowing him to breath fresh air.
